Have you ever been to a sex toy party? If not go, I highly recommend it. They're like a Tupperware party only the rep is selling sex toys and lotions, stuff like that. I was a rep for one of these type of companies for a while and they are a hoot! It's a great way to get and idea of what's available, to order what you're interested in privately, and to try out some of those yummy flavored lotions and lubes.
The rep usually shows up at the hostesses home about a half hour early to set up. She'll bring a variety of vibrators, dildos, lotions, lubes, and other fun stuff. She'll also have a small catalog for each guest that they can take notes on as she does her presentation. After the guests arrive there's usually a game or two where everone has the chance to win a sample of lotion or something like that. (At my parties we play a game where you pass a double headed dildo from person to person between your knees with a time limit. Drop it and you're out of the circle. The last woman standing wins the prize.) Then everyone settles down with a drink and the presentation starts.
Your rep will usually start out with a short introduction explaining the terminology she'll be using, tell a few jokes and try to get your party members to loosen up. Then there will be a demonstration of each item. Toys will be passed and lotions can be tasted and tested. The rep may have a cute anecdote to tell about a product or a funny way of demonstrating it. The guests always have a good time and will often tell their own personal stories of using similar items.
Now that everyone has seen all the products available and made notes on what they would like, the rep takes each guest individually into a private room to place their order. There she can make recommendations for special needs or whatever. Your rep may even have some of the products right there so you can take them home that night. But even if they don't, guests usually go home with several samples to play with while waiting for their order to arrive.
These sex toy parties can be as nasty or as nice as you like, depending on what company does it. They can be women only or coed. Some have lingerie that you can try on. They make great bachelorette parties. To find a company that's right for you, ask at the local 'toy store' or go online and search for sex toy party companies in your area. Then book one and have fun!
